Why
should I use your resume distribution service?
By having Resume Webcast distribute your resume, you can market
yourself to thousands of potential employers and recruiters in one
day. This increases your chances of securing a job by being able to
reach 90% more employers than by searching on your own (i.e.
newspapers, job boards, etc.)
What
types of results can I expect?
Your results will depend mostly on your qualifications, salary, and
location requirements, for the positions that the recruiters are
currently working on. Recruiters and companies will typically
respond right away to the candidates that fit one of their current
search assignments, and will add to their database all other
candidates for later search assignments. The average recruiter works
8 to 10 new search assignments per week; if your resume goes to 3000
recruiters you are getting exposed to 24,000 to 30,000 jobs.
Remember, it only takes one recruiter to get you the job you want.
Does
your resume distribution service really work?
The answer is "YES". Nearly 25% of our business comes to
us through referrals from satisfied customers. We put your resume
directly in the hands of recruiters, but from there, it's up to YOU
to land the job. If you still aren't sure about the value of our
services, please check out our testimonials
to see what a few clients have said.
What
makes Resume Webcast different from other resume distribution services?
We dont make you pay more money for more recruiters
and we dont make you select from a list that will narrow the
number of recruiters that your resume goes out to. For one flat fee,
you get it all. Every recruiter in our database will receive your
resume. As recruiters ourselves, we know that recruiters work
nationwide and it is standard practice for recruiters in California
to be working job openings in Florida and vice-versa. So, why limit
where your resume goes out to? A recruiter 5 States away may be
working on a job that is 5 miles from your home!
Also,
it would take you a tremendous amount of time to compile the contact
information for all of the employers and recruiters in our database.
Let us do the work; we'll make your career search easier.
Most
of the other services (job boards) put your resume in a huge
database. First, recruiters have to pay to search the
database; our service is free to all recruiters. Second, the
recruiters have to search the database for key words that will pull
your resume up and then they have to choose to read your resume from
all the ones that were pulled up. This is a reactive way of
getting to recruiters. The recruiters have to do all the work. This
is a resume distribution service. Recruiters and Companies sign up to
receive our resumes in their own personal E-Mail. They do not have
to search for you. This is much more proactive. Our founders
are real recruiters that own real recruiting companies. Most of
these new dot.com companies are a few years old, have never actually
placed anybody and dont know much about recruiting.
How
will I know that my resume has been delivered?
You will receive an E-Mail from us detailing that we received your
resume, and telling you that your credit card has been processed.
You will then receive confirmation that we have sent your resume
out. You will receive responses and acknowledgements that your
resume has been received by many recruiters, and companies. These
responses will begin immediately via email, and over a period of a
few days you will receive more.
Do
you have recruiters who do international placements?
Yes
we do.
I'm
a recent college graduate or a new MBA, do you have recruiters who
work with people like me?
Yes, many of the recruiters will work with new grads, especially new
MBA's, however your results will not be as strong as someone with 3
or more years work experience.
How
does my desire or ability to relocate affect the distribution of my
resume?
None at all. The reach of our service is nationwide and even
worldwide. We provide you with a mechanism to specify a geographic
preference in addition to your industry preferences. This will help
ensure that your resume is clearly marked as to your desires and
that only to recruiters who are interested in your geographic
preferences contact you. You should, however, consider opening up
your requirements a little to see just what other types of
opportunities might be available. Often times this can be rather
eye-opening.
How
long does it take from the time I send my resume to the time it is
fully distributed?
Your resume is processed the same day it is received. Sometimes, the
process can take up to a full day if significant reformatting is
required. It is very helpful for you to prepare your resume in the
appropriate ASCII format prior to submission. This is easily done by
saving it as a text (.txt) document, which is typically viewed
in Notepad.
My
resume is in a Word Document, am I required to send it in text-only?
We do require you to send your resume in a text-only format. We
require this since most employers do not want to receive an
attachment because they are too large, and this is the most common
way of transmitting a computer virus.
Some recruiters or employers may also use different software
and, therefore, would not be able to read your Word Document. We
broadcast only in plain text because some E-Mail programs do not
handle special characters, the viewer would only see garbled text
instead.
Do
you edit or rewrite my resume?
No. We take what you send us, format it for distribution, look over
it for any obvious mistakes or missing information, and then
broadcast it out.
What
are my payment options?
We accept MasterCard and Visa.
